Production & Dispatch Time

Every rug is made to order by hand, so production time depends on construction:

Hand-tufted rugs typically take 2-3 weeks to weave and finish.
Hand-knotted rugs take 1-2 months, given the intricacy of knot-by-knot weaving.

This production timeline is the same whether your order ships within India or internationally. Only the transit time after dispatch changes based on where you're located.

How Shipping Cost Is Calculated

Shipping is not a flat checkout fee. It's calculated from your order's total weight (each rug's size determines its weight), multiplied by a per-kilogram rate. One rate applies to anywhere within India; a separate rate applies to anywhere outside India. There is no minimum order value required, and shipping is charged on every order, regardless of size.

The exact cost for your order is calculated automatically and shown before you pay. Enter your pincode on any product page, or proceed to checkout with your address, for an exact figure.

Shipping Within India

We currently ship to every serviceable pincode in India. Once dispatched, most domestic deliveries arrive within 14 days or less, depending on your location. Enter your pincode on any product page for an exact transit estimate before you buy.

International Shipping

We ship both hand-knotted and hand-tufted rugs internationally. International orders are charged the international per-kg shipping rate, and may include an additional handling surcharge to cover costs specific to shipping outside India (such as international courier/customs handling and payment processing). Any such surcharge is calculated and shown to you before you pay, never added afterward.

Import duties, customs clearance charges, and any local taxes levied by your destination country are not included in our shipping charge and are the responsibility of the customer. These vary by country, so we're not able to quote them in advance. Please check with your local customs authority if you'd like an estimate before ordering.

Tracking Your Order

Once your rug is dispatched, tracking details are emailed to you and shown on the order in your Order History.

Delays & Delivery Issues

Occasionally, weather, customs processing (for international orders), or courier delays can push delivery beyond the estimated window. If your order is significantly delayed, or you believe it's been lost in transit, contact us at support@bhadohioriginals.com or +91 93050 05596 and we'll look into it with the courier on your behalf.
