Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Bhadohi Originals (this website) and any order you place through it. Bhadohi Originals is operated by Ishrat Jaha, a Sole Proprietorship registered in India, GSTIN 09BNVPJ0268A1ZX, registered address:

Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or using the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order. We use email-only sign-in, so you verify your email with a one-time code, no password required. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since it's what controls access to your Bhadohi Originals account.

Products & Pricing

Every rug is handmade, so natural, minor variation in colour, knot density, and pattern between the photographs and the piece you receive is normal and expected. It's a hallmark of genuine handmade construction, not a defect.

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct listing errors (including mispriced products) and to update prices at any time before an order is placed; the price you pay is the price shown at checkout at the time you complete payment.

Orders, Made-To-Order & Cancellation

Most rugs on Bhadohi Originals are made to order. Weaving or tufting begins shortly after your payment is confirmed. Because of this, an order generally cannot be cancelled once production has started. If you need to cancel, email support@bhadohioriginals.com as soon as possible; we can only cancel and refund an order if production has not yet begun.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example in cases of suspected fraud, an unauthorised or illegal transaction, or a pricing/listing error. In such cases, any payment already made will be refunded in full.

Payments

Full payment is required at checkout to confirm your order. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we do not store your card, UPI, or bank details. See our Privacy Policy for more on how payment data is handled.

Shipping

Full details, including how shipping cost is calculated and typical production/dispatch timelines, are in our Shipping Policy.

Returns & Refunds

Full details, including eligibility, who pays return shipping, and refund timelines, are in our Returns & Replacement Policy.

Reviews & User Content

If you submit a product review, return-request photos, or a custom rug design brief, you confirm it's your own content and grant us the right to display and use it in connection with operating the site (for example, showing your review on the product page). We may remove content that is abusive, fraudulent, or that violates these terms.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ishrat Jaha is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or a product purchased through it, beyond the value of the order itself. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or an order placed on Bhadohi Originals is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh.
